This therapeutic specialized technique is aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle, fascia and connective tissue primarily in the larger muscle groups. This treatment can include use of thumbs, knuckles, elbows and forearms. The smaller muscle groups will be massaged using Swedish techniques. Because of the intensity in this massage, the therapist will check in with your during your treatment to insure your comfort and give you information on what to expect in the days following your Deep Tissue Massage.
